Getting back to the basics and relearning the tried and true principles of marketing then applying the language of marketing to our language as affiliate marketers.</p>
<p>So, I&#8217;ve broken down (from my 30yr old college notes) Marketing 101 and have broken it down to the essentials.  Target Market, Continuity, Repetition (TCR).  So we&#8217;re going to look at Target Market, then  the wonderful world of Continuity, and then lastly we&#8217;ll study Repetition.  The basics, the very basics.  And all applied to the language and practice of Affiliate Marketing so we can refresh and renew our efforts.</p>
<p>Now Class..  Let&#8217;s begin.  All of marketing can be broken down into the development and delivery of your marketing message.  In order to most effectively deliver, receive response, and achieve sales with your marketing message you MUST remember the Three Rules of Marketing.</p>
<p><strong>TARGET MARKET<br />
CONTINUITY<br />
REPETITION</strong></p>
<p>If you never learn anything else about marketing&#8230;  Always remember TCR (Target Market, Continuity, and Repetition).  In it&#8217;s most basic form TCR is a path that makes you money.  And it does it by your crafting of an effective marketing message and delivering it to people who need/interested in/want what your selling (Target Market).  Delivering the essence of your value proposition (marketing message) in varied but logical fashion (Continuity).  And driving exposure of that message repeatedly (Repetition) to your Target Market.</p>
<p>In other words, tell people who care, tell them in different but familiar ways, and do it over and over again.  For example..  the Hot Dog vendor at the ballpark is an expert at marketing.  No, really, they&#8217;re geniuses.  Think about it&#8230;  Are they selling them in the parking lot at Denny&#8217;s?  No.  Are they telling you that they sell hambergers?  No.  To they stay shy and to themselves?  No.</p>
<p>Exactly the opposite.  The Hot Dog vendor at the ballpark is at the ballpark because people at ballgames love eating hotdogs!  They&#8217;ve targeted their niche (Target Market) to people who expect to buy what they&#8217;re selling.  And their message is consistent but varied.  (Hot Dogs, get your Hot Hot Dogs&#8230;  Over Here I&#8217;ve got Delicious Hot Dogs..  Hot Dogs Heeeere!)  Continuity of message in action.  And they bark that pitch over, and over, and over, and over again.  Repetition of the message.</p>
<p>Are you being as effective as a Hot Dog vendor at the ballpark?  Have you researched your niches, carefully evaluated your keywords, and crafted your marketing message for your niche?  Are you repeating those messages to people who are receptive?  Being original but consistent in what your telling your potential customers?  And delivering those messages where people are interested in your niche?  And delivering it over and over and over again?</p>
<p>Get back to the basics of marketing.  If you start looking at your niche selection, campaigns, messages your delivering with your sites, etc. all through the prism of TCR (Target Marketing, Continuity, and Repetition) your efforts will be more effective.  </p>
<p>And thank you Dr Wiles&#8230;  I&#8217;ve never forgotten TCR.</p>
